Flora - Trusting the Process

Flora is a brand new pattern inspired by my many trips to national trust properties in East Anglia, combined with my love of butterflies, bees and dragonflies.  Each repeat holds four butterflies in memory of four people very special to me.  This wrap really is a depiction of love and beauty that knows no end.

It has been woven on the blue and purple half of the cotton warp designed by Yume Slings with two beautiful organic cotton wefts in gold and black.  This is a unique style of weave with two wefts woven on the front of the warp allowing the warp and both wefts to be seen.  This allows for a beautifully strong wrap (similarly strong to a pocket weave due to the two wefts) but this has been created with a summer loving GSM of 310, much lower than our previous pocket weave wraps.

This is a beautiful easy care wrap that will require some breaking in but should be delicate in looks and strong to use and mouldable in no time.
